The FF-380 is a high-speed book sewing machine designed for offset book production. Equipped with the patented Smyth 4D feeder, it ensures careful and reliable handling of all paper and signature types. The integrated LAP opening device allows precise opening of lap signatures, even with variable lap sizes, while the Helix device guarantees correct signature positioning on the fixed saddle. Its mixed vacuum and pressure heading-up system delivers accurate head alignment of inserted signatures on the mobile saddle, and the signature locking system ensures stitches are perfectly centered on the spine. The result is a compact, perfectly sewn book—regardless of paper or signature type.
